This is a really nice, incredibly affordable bundle for the quality of information included that meets my criteria as being a good resource to work with to enhance language skills. The learner is introduced to foundational basics and grammar in the beginning and it gradually builds in complexity with straightforward and simple to understand explanations. (No frustration here!) I can focus on a section at a time and progress from there once it's mastered. The content is fantastic, particularly with the extensive list of useful phrases. If you just want to spend some time learning some specific vocabulary, such as foods, the components of a car, basic anatomy or useful interjections to incorporate in sentences, it's organized very concisely to help you do so efficiently. I will likely be printing pages as I go so I can focus on them in 'chunks' until I get the information down. My favorite feature are the stories. I love the practice they offer and the English translations are available if you are struggling. (Definitely works you up to a more advanced level which is wonderful!) Each section features vocabulary and a questions section to further engage the learner. I just find things along these lines to be very helpful to challenge the learner to move beyond memorization and truly using and applying the language. For Kindle users, this is audio-enabled! (The breakdown of pronunciation in this guide is quite thorough even if you don't have a Kindle, but do be sure to expose yourself to some form of audio to enhance your skills.) If you are someone who has been learning with the DuoLingo app., this is a fantastic supplement that will complement your learning since it will help you better understand the 'hows' and the 'whys' of the language which the app doesn't explain.
